Joan Kors is making a personal appearance for Michael Kors at the Neiman Marcus in the Stanford Shpping Center in Palo Alto.  Meet Joan Kors, Michael Kors’ mother, and view the Fall 2010 Michael Kors Collection.  This takes place at Neiman Marcus, 400 Stanford Shopping Center in the Designer Sportswear Section, Level 2 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
WEDNESDAY

Glass Kandi is kicking off the 4th of July weekend early by hosting a special sale with 20 – 50% savings throughout the store on lingerie and other goodies.  Glass Kandi has a great selection of beautiful corsets, lingerie, jewelry and toys.  Sangria, wine and light snacks will be provided. 
It’s fun to veer from the traditional fashion events and go to other parties where you have the opportunity to mingle with style makers from other industries.  Come join talented artists and film industry professionals as they launch the SF Frozen Film Festival with an opening night party at The Space Gallery in San Francisco.  Open to the public, no cost to attend.

Come to supperclub for the Luv & Rockets Red Party, featuring a fashion show and trunk sale.  Models will be taking to the runway in the designs by Charlie Fisher, Miss G Designs, and Laulin Osher.  Spinning the tunes throughout the evening will be DJ Knowa Knowone and DJ Ill Gates.  Admission is $12 before 10 PM and $15 afterwards.
THURSDAY

Join Craft Bar and Etsy Labs for an evening of socializing and crafting, featuring projects from three local felting artists: a needle felted necklace with Jamie Chan and Blas Herrera from Urban Fauna studios, needle felt a penguin with Jackie Huang from Woolbuddy, and a cute felted caterpillar with artist Lea Zalinskis.  Refreshments from local brewery Trumer Pils and appetizers from mexican restaurant Tropisueno will be provided.  Craft Bar is free with $5 admission to the gallery.
Wonderland SF has become a special venue for exciting local art exhibitions and fashion events.  Owner Irene Hernandez-Feiks will be presenting the “Entre Suenos” featuring artwork from Charmaine Olivia, Chris Granillo, Jeff Nemenzo, MARK CAMPBELL, Renee Castro, PIXELSTUD, and Xiau-Fong Wee.  There will also be a special fashion installation by Elizabeth Fisher.  RSVP at info@wonderlandsf.com.  No cost to attend.
San Francisco Magazine is hosting their “Best of the Bay Area” party – one of the city’s biggest bashes of the year.  This event is known for its premier food and drink, chic crowd, and amazing entertainment.  Plus, find out what places, people and things have been voted the best.  Ticket cost options range from $100 to $200.

Enjoy an elegant evening of style and fashion with Rose Chung, the founder of the Miss Asian America Pageant.   In its 25th year, this pageant continues to celebrates “beauty, elegance, and culture” through the women who participate and the impact they make nation-wide through charitable organizations and events.  There will also be Miss Asia American princesses at the event.  Performers and entertainers will make this a a night to remember.  Attire is black tie optional.  Admission is $20 or complimentary with RSVP. 
SATURDAY

For those sneaker lovers, SF Collection is having a Grand Opening Celebration for their sneaker consignment shop.  They claim to be San Francisco’s first consignment store for deadstock sneakers.  Come check out what styles they have in supply.
Explore traditional handicrafts and contemporary design with skilled artisans who explore symmetries and patterns with textiles and how they have evolved.  General admission is $15.

Local designer Anna Belaya will be featuring a theatrical fashion show of her european influenced collection.  Popular DJ  Lyndsay Escott will be providing a music mix for the special presentation.  RSVP to be on the guest list for complimentary admission before 11:30 PM and reduced pricing after 11:30 PM.

Celebrate Fourth of July weekend with Roe Nightclub!  There will be live entertainment by Desired Temptations, guest DJs spinning throughout the night and a fashion show featuring the designs of Coucou Couture, Danielle Pettee and Magdalena Trever.  RSVP to be on their guest list.
