Innovative Fashion Council San Francisco
“We are a not for profit trade association based in San Francisco, California that was created in the office of Mayor Gavin Newsom. Our organization provides industry networking and fashion events, forums to voice concerns within the industry, and soon a business incubator and a residential fellowship program. We strive to increase global and local exposure for local designers and the City of San Francisco’s fashion industry. By seeking and promoting expansion of the industry to another sophisticated, elegant, and fashion-forward city like San Francisco, IFCSF will, in turn, be able to create new jobs within the fashion industsry, which in turn, will benefit the City at large.
Mission: To create a cohesive, vibrant fashion community, a fashion district, a fashion vocational high school and ultimately an eco-fashion epicenter based in San Francisco. ICSF is committed to instructing, inspiring and mentoring emerging designers and recent graduates of all aspects of design pursuing a career in the industry. San Francisco Bay Area Fashion Network
The San Francisco Bay Area Fashion Network is a fashion trade association with membership consisting of womenswear, menswear, jewelry and accessory designers, stylists, photographers, hair and makeup artists, model agencies, fashion show directors/producers, retail buyers, fashion publication editors, and fashion industry related professionals.
Mission: The SFBA Fashion Network objective is to build a business and social network to promote awareness and create a directory website of the fashion industry in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Projects and Events: Membership includes networking activities and events held quarterly. Future plans include an annual fashion showcase featuring SFBA Fashion Network Talents.

YouLiveAndYouLearn.org philosophy is “Fashion For Architecture.” The organization creates various educational and charitable activities. Its main concerns are with civil society, philanthropy, and the nonprofit sector that seeks to promote the practice of charitable giving and voluntarism through a variety of strategies including advocacy, disclosure and information exchange.
Mission: The non-profit organization showcases the talent of aspiring and struggling fashion designers by working with them to create charitable runway events. This is a creative forum for many to learn and to express themselves. The events are fundraisers aimed to create a program for high school students and college graduates to gain diversified experience qualifying them for license exams such as the NCIDQ. This is an educational initiative that motivates and helps many make their dreams come true.
